Dentist Can Sağlat · Bitez, Bodrum
International Patients
Our patients include people from abroad who live in Bodrum, visitors on holiday and Turkish citizens living overseas. For a patient travelling from afar, the most important thing is to plan treatment around the length of their stay. On this page we explain how we plan your visit, who accompanies you and how we keep in touch once you are home.

Planning your visit together
Visits by our international patients are planned by our Health Tourism Officer, who communicates with patients from abroad in English. Our Health Tourism Officer:
- Arranges your treatment schedule around the length of your stay in Bodrum.
- Gives you guidance on airport transfers and accommodation. You make the bookings yourself.
- Accompanies you to an imaging centre when needed.
- Stays in touch with you after treatment, once you are back home.
Before you come
- First contact: If possible, write to us by WhatsApp or email at least 15 days before you arrive. Tell us about your complaint, what you hope for and the dates you will be in Bodrum.
- Previous records: If you have X-rays, CT scans or records of earlier treatment, sending them helps us make a preliminary assessment.
- Preliminary plan: A final plan can only be made after an examination. Even so, we discuss in advance which stages could fit into this visit, given the length of your stay.
Treatment that fits your stay
At our practice we see seven patients a day and set aside one hour for each appointment. That is why it matters that we plan your appointments in advance around the days you will be in Bodrum.
Some treatments can be completed in a single visit. Others need healing time between stages. For example, an implant usually takes a few months to fuse with the bone, so treatments like this are spread over more than one visit. After the examination we tell you clearly how many visits your treatment needs. If your stay is too short for a stage, we would rather leave that stage for your next visit than rush it.
Language and treatment report
We speak Turkish and English during consultations. We explain your treatment options, the stages and the possible risks in a language you understand, without hurrying. The decision is made together, once your questions have been answered.
At the end of your treatment we give you a treatment report in English, which you can share with your dentist at home.
After treatment
Once you are home, you can still write to us by WhatsApp or email with any questions. Our Health Tourism Officer follows your recovery and, when needed, consults Dentist Can Sağlat before getting back to you. To assess how things are going, we may sometimes ask you for a photo of the inside of your mouth. If you need to come back for the next stage, we plan that visit together as well.
Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate
Our practice holds an International Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate issued by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye (certificate no. 2026048015610080000446129, 12.03.2026). You can view the certificate via the link at the bottom of this page. For general information on health tourism in Türkiye, see the Ministry of Health’s Health Türkiye website.
